You all must have heard these two words but did you ever try to figure it out, is there any difference between Denim and Jeans? I always thought that both are synonyms, but it’s not. Denim is a fabric name which is made from 100% cotton twill or stretch twill whereas Jeans is one type of garment which is made from denim.
As the year matures, new garments are introduced in the clothing world. Same garments are often constructed in different forms. This goes for denim jeans also. Jeans was invented by Jacob W. Davis with Levi Strauss & Co. in 1871. So they are almost 1.5 century old, and still running successfully. We cannot think our life without jeans, as they are the mode of survival. From boot cut to bell bottom to slim fit jeans; this family is still running a long journey. But now a new member is added in the family of jeans, they are denim joggers.
1. JEANS :
Before, jeans were completely for casual attire but nowadays because of its new reconstructed look, it is worn everywhere. Men started to make their office look trendier and try to keep it in buzz. As people started to make their own fashion statement, a huge challenge a put forward to the fashion leaders. If we dated back to the 19th century or early 20th century, men wore only boot cut or bell bottom jeans (no worries……). But now you can see the difference, even the regular fit jeans have categories. And we even can imagine many more to come. Now we have a section only for jeans, in our wardrobe. To make you feel more relaxed, let me brief you the current trending jeans.
a. Skinny Jeans:
Skinny jeans for men became a fashion trend among all youngsters. It has little-to-no room from thigh to ankle.
e. Distressed Jeans:
Distressed jeans were popular in the late 1980s during the hard rock/heavy metal era and in the 1990s and 2000s during the grunge era. They have natural or manipulated wear & tear. These jeans are now much trending among all age groups. Especially the youths, who go for extreme ripped jeans.
We have large sections of jeans, as per type, color, wash or fits. Rather than normal fit jeans, we bring you the latest trend of stretchable jeans. It is a blend of 98% cotton and 2% elastane with a clean look, mid-rise and mild faded. Update your denim wardrobe with these top in the line, slim jeans. Keep it casual for the weekend by pairing with leather boots and a regular tee.
2. DENIM JOGGERS
For the past few years, menswear has undergone a transformation on a pretty fundamental level. Tailoring has relaxed, men’s dress codes have become blurred and a new era of Athleisure has started. This specifically includes Denim joggers, which are essentially sweatpants that, when paired properly, can kill the formals and replace them, without anyone knowing. The key is the pairing and the timing.
Taking high street denim fashion to a whole new level, these are stylishly designed with lean silhouette and amounts to your swag with its fashionable look. Fabric is a Cotton Poly blend, with 69 % Cotton, 30% Polyester and 1.5 % Elastane. These joggers are slim fit, mid-rise with a clean look and have an elasticated waistband with a drawcord. This enables you to adjust the grip around your waist. We also have color options as per your desired outfits and occasions.
Who in this world doesn’t love jeans, I love blue washed jeans; they are my bias. So rather than buying a whole lot of jeans just by appearance, it is better to buy only trending one with proper details. It will help you to sort your jeans section and always keep you updated.
